Flora Association

Bloom events are organized by the Flora association, a non-profit organization registered in Zürich.

Our name & vision

The name Flora (the Roman goddess of flowers and spring) was chosen intentionally to represent something broader than just the Bloom Gathering itself. We wanted an umbrella name that allows other "flowers" (projects, events, and initiatives) to flourish and grow alongside Bloom.

Every event we build is a living expression of the Bloom vision. To anchor this vision, we live and breathe our core principles.

Membership & Community Guidelines

Our community thrives thanks to dedicated members who organize gatherings that bring us closer together and support our mutual growth. These gatherings provide a wonderful space to foster meaningful connections, build trust, and align around shared values.

To maintain the authenticity, safety, and spirit of our community, joining begins with a personal invitation. Our gatherings are private, and we kindly ask everyone to respect the following privacy guidelines:

No posting on public social media.
No sharing in large, impersonal chat groups. Announcing an event in a chat is fine if you personally know most of the participants in that group.

How to Become a Member

Receive a personal invitation to a gathering.
Attend at least one gathering (spanning several days).
Fill out our application form after having attended an event.
Membership is automatically accepted unless an applicant has repeatedly violated community agreements or engaged in severe non-consensual actions.

Rights of Members

Access to the member-exclusive Telegram chat.
The right to organize Flora events (subject to board approval).
The right to invite value-aligned people to Bloom gatherings.
Invitation to participate, vote, and run polls in the General Assembly.

Expectations of Members

Maintain integrity by following Flora’s values and community agreements during all events.
Stay informed by reading General Assembly updates and association emails.

Suspension & Leaving

Suspension: The board reserves the right to suspend a member if they repeatedly violate community agreements or engage in severe non-consensual actions. A suspended person can appeal the decision and raise it to the General Assembly for a community vote.
Leaving: You can leave the community at any time by contacting a board member or sending a brief email to hello@bloomgathering.love.
