Flora Association

Bloom events are organised by the Flora association.

Flora (the goddess of flowers) is intended to be more than just supporting the organisation of Bloom.

Flora is the goddess of the flowers and it was important for us that the association is not called Bloom but is wider so other flowers can also flourish under this umbrella.

Flora's Mission

Our mission is to empower individuals to grow and bloom, discover and radiate their inner beauty onto the world. 

We strive to create safe(r) spaces and an empathic culture, promote sustainable ways of living and bring awareness to the impact of our actions. 

We aim to foster self-development practices, raise awareness and consciousness in society about consent, needs, boundaries, and living in the present moment, and create and promote a culture around these principles. 

We organize events and spaces to share knowledge, skills, art/creativity, and provide structures and tools that facilitate exploration. 

We are a non-profit organization and do not pursue any commercial purposes

Membership 

Our community thrives thanks to dedicated members, who organize gatherings and events that bring us closer together and support each other to grow.

These gatherings provide a wonderful space to foster meaningful connections, build trust, and align around shared values. Many friendships and bonds have already formed as a result.

Joining our community begins with attending a gathering, and we rely on personal invitations to ensure that growth remains intentional and aligned so that the values and spirit are kept. This approach helps us maintain the authenticity and connection of each new member.

As such, our gatherings are private, and we ask everyone to respect the following guidelines:

• No posting on social media

• No sharing in large, impersonal chat groups

• Announcing an event in a chat is fine if you personally know most of the participants in that group

How to become a Member?

• Get a personal invitation to a gathering

• Attended at least one gathering (of several days)

• Fill our application form after having attended one event.

• The membership will be automatically accepted except if the person repeatedly does not keep community agreements or engages in severe non-consensual actions.

Expectations from Members

• Receiving emails from GA and updates

• Integrity in following Flora values & community agreements during Flora Events.

Rights of Members

• Invitation to participate in the GA and votes and polls 

• Join the Telegram chat 

• Organize Flora events (need to be approved by board)

• Right to invite other people to gatherings that are aligned with the values 

Suspension of members

• Done by board if the person repeatedly does not keep community agreements or engages in severe non-consensual actions.

• The suspended person can appeal and raise this to the GA to ask people to vote
